 13 Bag It

Is Your Life Too Plastic? Find out at Barns, July 13 at 12:30pm, July 14 at 5pm. $5. Leslie Moran hosts the documentary Bag It while collecting signatures to outlaw the use of plastic bags in the shops and stores of Berryville and Clarke County. In the film, Jeb Berrier explores the effects of plastic bags, opting to stop using them as his wife enters pregnancy. Among other things, he highlights the Great Pacific Garbage Patch where plastic fragments are found to outnumber plankton 40-to-1 and contribute to around 100,000 marine animal deaths every year. 13 The Manhattan Project

28 4-H Summer Camp

July 28–August 1. Registrations now accepted for the Clarke/Warren 4-H Summer Camp for youth ages 9–13 at the Northern VA 4-H Center in Front Royal. This overnight camp includes activities like archery, swimming, canoeing, horsemanship, arts & crafts, high & low ropes, outdoor sports and more. Wildlife Discovery Camp

at the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center every Tuesday, 9:30am–2:30pm from June 11 to August 20. $25 per session.
